A tiger reclines in Ranthambore, Rajasthan. The Ranthambore National Park in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, is home to many tigers. The expansive park lies at the edge of a plateau, and is bounded to the north by the Banas River and to the south by the Chambal River, and has numerous steep hills upon one of which sits the historic Ranthambore fortress.
