Itinerary
ItineraryDay 01 - Arrive / DelhiArrive at New Delhi airport in the morning & meet our representative, will assist you till hotel and discuss tour briefly.
Day 02 - Delhi / DharamsalaEarly morning transfer to Railway station to board train for Dhramashala, meeting & assistance on Mcload ganj station and transfer to hotel Day 03 - DharamsalaMorning visit to His holiness Dalai Lama monastery, later visit to ROYAL KANGRA MUSEUM – dedicated to Maharaja Sansar Chandra. Maharaja Sansar Chandra inherited the throne of Kangra when he was just 10 years old. By the age of 21 he had defeated the Mughals and had won back his ancestral fort of Kangra. True to the saying “He who holds the Fort rules the hills” The young Maharaja ushered in an age of prosperity and the Indian renaissance of paintings. Day 04 - Dharamsala / ManaliDrive to Manali, enroute stop at Kullu, feel most beautiful panoramic view while driving to Manali Day 05 - ManaliEmbark on a full day local sightseeing trip of Manali, covering Hadimba Temple, Club House Evening visit The Mall and Gompa Day 06 - Manali / ShimlaDrive to Shimla, on arrival check in hotel , later stroll around the town, and if somebody interested then you can some adventure also there, biking, paragliding, skiing (In December) Day 07 - Shimla / DelhiMorning drive to Delhi, on arrival check in into hotel, evening at leisure Day 08 - Delhi / MandawaMorning visit to Old & New Delhi. Highlights include the Jama Masjid, the most important mosque in India; Chandni Chowk bazaar will show you more colours on your rickshaw ride. Visit Qutub Minar, the highest tower in India, and Humayun’s Tomb, an early example of Mughal architecture.
Day 09 - Mandawa / BikanerWe will drive to Bikaner enroute will stop at Karni Mata temple (rat temple) Deshnok is a village 30km south of Bikaner along the Jodhpur road. A visit to Deshnok's fascinating temple of Karni Mata, an incarnation of Durga, is not far for squeamish. Here the holy rodents are considered to be incarnations of the storytellers, and run riot over the temple complex. Day 10 - Biknaer / JaisalmerThis morning we will drive to Jaisalmer, is the city of Thar Desert. Late afternoon visit the sand dunes and enjoy a camel ride to view the sunset, as the sky is set on fire and Rajasthani folk musicians play haunting tunes. It can be an unforgettable experience. Day 11 - JaisalmerMorning sightseeing in the city's magnificent havelis or merchant's houses, each richly decorated and carved from golden yellow sandstone - Patwon-ki-haveli (House of the Brocade Merchants) is the largest and most elaborate of the famous havelis of Jaisalmer. Day 12 - Jaislamer / JodhpurDrive to Jodhpur, once a major outpost on the Silk Road. Wander through the colorful Sadar Bazaar, where you may shop for the famous glass bangles, rugged leather mojri slippers and vivid tie-dyed fabric. Visit Meharangarh fort. Day 13 - Jodhpur / JaipurMorning drive to Jaipur - Capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur known as “Pink City” - is spectacularly set within surrounding rugged hills, dotted with ancient ruined fortresses. Evening visit to Birla Ganesha temple to attend AARTI ceremony and be part of local’s daily prayer. Day 14 - JaipurMorning tour of the impressive Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you will mount your caparisoned elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate, making your entrance in the time honoured fashion. Your further day tour will include the imposing City Palace, still home to the Maharaja although several of the rooms are now open to the public. You will also visit the Hawa Mahal "Palace of the Winds", and the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory to see the vast astronomical instruments, used till date by astrologers when they make horoscopes. Day 15 - Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikari / AgraMorning drive to Agra, Journey overland through rural India, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri, arrive Agra and check in into hotel.
Day 16 - Agra / Delhi / Home CountryMorning visit to Taj Mahal – 7th wonder of the world, monument of love known as many names, considered the world’s finest example of Mughal architecture. Later continue drive to Delhi
